Homeschool Co-op
Each semester we offer a new variety of courses based on the interests and needs of the families and students in our local community. We have had Science Unit Studies, History, Culinary, Lego Robotics, S.T.E.M., Life Skills, and many others as well!
We are dedicated to providing play & learning opportunities for families that promote a child’s development and foster a love of learning and curiosity. Our goal with our Homeschool Co-op is to supplement and enrich a child’s primary educational experience in a holistic way.
Part-Time Schedule for Micro-School
With this schedule, your students will get a taste of many of the things we have on our menu at The Ivy Micro-School. The biggest gain will likely be the social aspect they receive from being together with friends and classmates during their school week. That provides an amount of gentle peer pressure and accountability as they see other students prioritizing their work. It will help them to find the value in working hard and being dedicated to their academics.
As Part-Time Students at The Ivy, the bulk of responsibility for students’ education still lies with the parents, but we are here to partner with you and supplement their at-home learning that they do with you the remaining days of the week.
Your students will get one-on-one help with their Core Subjects and get to participate in lots of play-based learning opportunities while they are in our care. We will also get the opportunity to attend some fields trips that fall on Tuesdays & Thursdays from time to time.
Hybrid Schedule for Micro-School
In addition to the one-on-one help with Core Subject Lessons, Hybrid Schoolers also get to participate in our Group Cooperative Classes. We have a Morning Time Group Class that covers our weekly Memory Work, Catechisms, & Themed Workbox Learning Activities. In the afternoons, we work in small groups to work through our Core Subject Work Cycles as well as attend our Homeschool Co-op Classes for Supplemental Subjects & additional group learning.

Weekly Done-for-You Lesson Plans that start with us & are basically done as homework on Tuesdays & Thursdays
Basic School Supplies utilizing our Disc-bound Notebook System
Some All-Inclusive Field Trips on Occasion
Full-Time Schedule for Micro-School
Our Full-Time Students receive all of the benefits of the other options, including the cooperative classes offered for their age group and the interest-based classes of their choosing.
